Mirroring the sweep should have worked. You just needed to check the Reapply Features box in the mirror command. Always look for that option; it has solved a lot of errors for me.

after completing the drafting, what is the shortcut key for thick view to thin view....I mean sketch borders will change to thick curve to thin curves..
